Very consistent and smooth yarn. Has a slight tendency to split if using a needle smaller than 0 US.
Other comments:
I use this yarn for socks, mittens, gloves and headbands in any gauge from 6.5 st to the inch to 11 st to the inch and I always like the result. The yarn produces a beautiful fabric. Color choice (where I buy it) limited. The blend of wool and synthetics makes it ideal for socks as I don't have to add reinforcing thread, especially in the smaller gauge.
