The color changes on
this yarn are such that
you can't put the
knitting down! Each
ball looks different
from the outside as
many colors are in each
ball.

Other comments:
I made a shawl from this but Mexican Wave is particularly suitable for kids clothing and is outstanding in entrelac knitting.

I used this yarn for a
baby surprise jacket.
Another local knitter
had used it with a size
5 needle and the
garment turned out
fairly tightly knit and
small.
The size 7 needle
produced a garment with
a 23 inch chest
measurement. It is a
soft and comfy sweater.

Other comments:
The label says needle size 3-5, crochet hook f/5. The size 5 needle produces a rather firm fabric.
The yarn is very suitable for children or adult garments. The fabric is nice to the touch and should retain its shape and feel.
The colors are wonderful - I don't remember how many there are, but I have 3 of them - just couldn't resist.

My youngest son (3yo)
choose this one for the
color, me for the ease
of maintance. It has
knit up very well,
keeping the shape and
withstanding a bit of
frogging to boot. And
the color change is
lovely!

Other comments:
This was choosen to be a sweater for a 3yo. So a yarn that would hold it's shape and withstand frequent washing/drying is a must. This one has stood up well to both tests.

Bought this for making
kids' caps for charity.
It's soft and one of
the nicer acrylics I've
used. It had a little
bit of that nails-on-
chalkboard feeling but
this may be my personal
sensitivity to
acrylics. I was a
little disappointed by
the color; there are no
visible color changes
or waves, only some
teeny flecks in one of
the plies that aren't
very prominent and
don't change noticeably
in color throughout.

Perfect for making soft, washable caps for kids.

This yarn is perfect
for kids sweaters,
being machine wash and
dryable. It's not as
soft as a good quality
wool yarn, but neither
is it as expensive.

I've made four entralac sweaters for my three grandkids and myself and love the way the colors work out. The only other yarn I've found that lends itself as well to entralac is Noro Silk Garden.
