Quality comments:
Like any mohair, it sheds, although not a lot. I worked with seconds and did not find knots in 1 lb. skeins. Colors are subtle. great yardage makes expensive yarn a better buy--2 lb. was enough for cocoon coat in stockinette st.
Other comments:
Yarn was a pleasure to work with. Colorations were muted, so striping and other issues with variegated yarn did not cause any visual problems. Yarn colors match 100% wool yarn from same manufacturer--2 strands wool = 1 strand mohair. I have not mixed them yet.

Good quality
Other comments:
Aran weight hand-dyed mohair. This is a discontinued yarn. If you see it, snap it up. It's everything a mohair should be, with excellent yardage, beautiful colors and NO scratchiness. Highly recommended.

Quality comments:
This yarn did not shed for me; I even frogged an entire scarf in order to make two hats, and I noticed no shedding. Shading of this colorway was very subtle.
Other comments:
I liked knitting with it and my mother loves the tams I made for her. (I had to add elastic thread to the ribbing for it to retain its stretchiness, but I think that would be needed for any mohair.)
