Very evenly spun and
dyed, with no knots.
Vivid colors. No
vegetable matter,
though I did encounter
one or two tiny little
threads of something
like plastic spun into
the yarn.

Other comments:
This is a 4-ply, worsted spun yarn. Fantastic stitch definition, very much suitable for arans and ganseys. Crisper than Cascade 220, but softer than Rowan Magpie. Similar in texture to Jo Sharp DK wool. Yarn is put up in 50 gram pull skeins, which are convenient to use.
I will definitely use this yarn for many future projects.

Very evenly spun, sturdy
yarn. Color is a bit
brighter than I expected
(I anticipated an almost
navy blue, this is a
drakish royal blue), so
beware. It's still
quite lovely, though.

Other comments:
The fabric on US9s is a bit loose, so I'll probably go down a size. It's also a bit rougher than I anticipated, but then again it's not merino and it's incredibly cheap. I'm glad I was planning on using it for a cardigan rather than next-to-skin wear.

Much, much nicer yarn
than I expected. A
pleasure to knit with.
Non-fuzzy, great stitch
definition. No sign of
pilling, so far.
Beautiful colors and
very soft and
comfortable for a
non-merino wool. I can
wear it right against
the skin, whereas many
rougher wools make my
skin prickle and itch.
Most skeins had no
knots, but a few had
more than one. I
complained about one
skein that had 3 knots,
and the company promptly
sent me another skein
for free. I hope to see
this offered in bigger
skeins in the future.

I made a Ribby Cardi out of this, and every one in my family wants one! The yarn is so incredibly nice knitted up. This will be my new staple yarn. I also kool-aid dye the undyed skeins, with beautiful results.

Surprisingly soft,
sturdy yarn for the
cost! No knots or
uneven plies. Much
softer than I expected.
Played around with
swatches and it has
great stitch definition
as well.

GREAT FELTING YARN!!!
This yarn felts beautifully! Only had to run it through 2 times to get a good fabric. Ran it through 3 times and it was gorgeous!
As soft as this yarn is next to the skin wearables is entirely feasible.

Decent texture; gorgeous
saturated color that
didn't fade at all on
washing. (Definitely
get a color card or a
single skein before
buying enough for a
garment --this color was
very different from both
the website and catalog
rendition, MUCH brighter.)

Other comments:
I used this yarn for my first felting project; it was easy to work with and felted well.

This was a nice, soft
yarn to knit with, but
of course not as soft as
merino. The yarn is
even and has nice spring
to it. I was very
impressed, considering
the awesome price. I
had no knots in my
skeins. I second the
other posters' advice to
order a color card, as
the catalog & the
computer screen are a
little off on the actual
colors.

Other comments:
I used this yarn doubled to make a felted bag (my first felted project), and it turned out beautifully. I had to run it through the wash only once, and the fabric is so cohesive, there is no sign of stitch definition. The fabric is sturdy and soft. I will definitely use this yarn again.

I occasionally come
across some bumps that
are carefully concealed
knots. I wish the skeins
were all 220-yard size
as it would mean fewer
ends to weave in.

Other comments:
This is a great yarn for the price! I love knitting with it. The yarn blocks beautifully. It does not seem itchy and it feels sturdy like it will not pill easily. The colors are great. The color card is highly recommended.
