Other comments:
Adri 'Globe' has about a one-stitch repeat if you use the recommended needle size, and and about a two stitch repeat if you knit tighter (say for socks). It's around 18st/10cm, and has something like 20% nylon, 80%wool. I used it for sock tops, and used an 8ply/DK for the feet - much cheaper that way, _and_ I can get my shoes on! . Nice stuff - it's held up well. I used the Tweed Stitch from a Harmon book to make a scrunchy sock top - a modified K2P2.
