No knots or other problems. High quality yarn.

This is a shetland jumper weight wool; it's perfect for fair isle, since it has an enormous color range and has the shetland "stickiness" that makes it possible to finish steeks without machine sewing. This can substitute easily with Jamieson and Smith (and vice versa). I've used this yarn in Starmore patterns. The colors are gorgeous, and are worth the price of the yarn. It washes well -- but remember that Shetland felts very easily, and be careful! I also dry my garments under tension, on a home made wooly board (more info on this on Emily Way's Online Knitting Magazine -- look under Techniques)
