A nice yarn to work with although it "fuzzes" a bit which blurs the colorwork just a bit. No knots in the 4 skeins I've worked with.

This is my new "yarn of choice" for lightweight woolen mittens (I use Lambs Pride Worsted for heavy-duty adult mittens).

Split, fuzzed, felt dry, and it doesn't look like it will hold up well to wearing. It is quite warm though, and I want to wear it a lot. The color work just won't take the usage.

This sweater is a 2 color snowflake. I wouldn't work with this yarn again.

[Editor's Note: This review posted by Jeannie D. of Elegant Stitches] I made a child's sweater and it knitted up larger than I expected. The yarn was great to work with, very soft, no kinks, color distortion, etc. Have not washed it yet, so I don't know what will happen. SInce it was combined with Tahki's Roxy in the sweater, I will have to hand wash the garment

No knots in the 2 balls I used. Yarn didn't split.

I used this yarn to make gloves, and I think they look great and will keep hands very warm. I hope they'll stand up to washings. since I haven't done I really liked knitting with this yarn (but I thought the yardage was a bit short) and would buy it again.

Some splitting when knitting with this yarn. Good color consistency and nice feel. The resulting fabric has a nice hand to it.
|
|
Other comments:
The yarn is being used for a gansey-style sweater. The knit/purl patterning shows up well. I think to quality is good and I would use it again, especially since the price is good. I noticed that if I leave the knitting on the needle for just a day, you can notice a line across the fabric. I'm hoping this will disappear once the sweater is washed. Stitches that are accidentally pulled out and easily pulled back into the fabric, so I think this yarn is pretty forgiving.

Very nice to work
with. Feels good to
knit, no plastic
feeling. No problems
within the skein.

Other comments:
This is for an afghan for a couple that throws everything in the washer and dryer. So, I treated the yarn swatch accordingly. The yarn bloomed nicely, yet still lets the cables stand out beautifully. It will be something they can use for years, and not worry about care.

Few knots, but it feels
like you're knitting
with plastic! Not a
very nice superwash at
all.

Other comments:
I used it for the heels and toes of some socks, and it was ok. I wouldn't use it again.

I used this yarn to
make several pairs of
socks. I don't think
it is really much of a
superwash--my socks
felted slightly and
lost much of their
stretch. They are very
fuzzy. That said, when
I can fit them on they
are very durable.

Splitty and very pilly
and fuzzy, extremely so
after washing. I can't
believe how different
this stuff is to regular
Lambs' Pride. I hate
the end result. The
pills must be cut off
and not pulled, or they
leave a wisp of fuzz
sticking out. No end to
the pilling. I will
never use it again.

Other comments:
I made some blocks in my Rambling Rows afghan with this, and an Einstein Coat with the bulky weight. The afghan has yet to be washed, but the squares pill tremendously just from use. The coat is a nightmare after washing. It takes about an hour to 'clean up' all the unsightly pilling after it's washed, which makes me dread washing it. It is really warm and cuddly, tho, if you can get past the fuzzing...

I don't know what I would use this yarn for again. It pills horribly and sheds like it is dog hair.
